BUDDY COLE
BUDDY COLE
Buddy Cole is a flamboyant gay bar fly renowned for his wit, style, and nose for danger. The creation of actor-comedian Scott Thompson (a mere double hyphenate), Buddy Cole is a multi-hyphenate extraordinaire, an actor, a dancer, a singer, a model, a world traveler, and a proud Canadian.
“My goal is not to shock and horrify, but to tell the truth. And if that truth shocks and horrifies, well . . . maybe you should get out more.”
BUDDY BABYLON
The Buddy Cole Autobiography as told by Scott Thompson and Paul Bellini
Buddy Cole, the acid-tongued raconteur created by comedian Scott Thompson, earned international fame as one of the most beloved characters on Kids in the Hall. Originally published in 1998, Buddy’s classic faux-memoir was a master class in pushing the envelope and pissing off the censors. Now, twenty years later, Scott Thompson is bringing Buddy back to the stage, with an international tour, and also a reissue of Buddy Babylon, presented with new, never before seen material, introducing Buddy to new generations of readers.
